This looks better with more yellow in the stars and another layer of yellows in other areas.
I made the frame dark. When a frame is a light color (as it was in the earlier version), it tends to show a lot of dings as time goes on. A darker color is easier to repaint and match.
I painted the fish blue. When I look at this piece my eye moves from looking from the sky, down the waterfall, over to the fish and then back up to the sky. The blue is helping me do that.
