Below a picture of my palette containing six months of acrylic paint wastage.
Here I hold acrylic paint that has been peeled off the palette, in weight I would estimate it to be equivalent to a 3 or 6 oz tube of paint.

Great comment Tricia. This works for acrylics? or are you talking oil paints!

Hi Mary, I do not like to waste paint either. So I spray a little water on my palette and cover well with cling wrap and then put it in the refrigerator. It will last for a week. No more waste.
