You may notice I haven't been very timely recently in my blog postings. Below is my latest email update to those signed up to get email updates - I've been working a lot to get ready for the summer artist market. I promise I will get back to my blog soon!
Email update sent July 27, 2010
It's Here, it's Now: Summer artist market takes
place on Friday July 30, 2010 - 2 PM to 8 PM. There'll be art, music,
wine and people all celebrating summer next to the Cayuga Lake inlet.
I'll be there at booth #3, my regular Ithaca Farmers Market booth. My
goal is to sell work to raise money to buy a composting toilet. I've
had a recent run of sales and want to keep the momentum going. Please
come to my booth and speak up. Remember you also have the option to buy on layaway, I keep the piece and you make payments until complete.
Show at the Titus Gallery Continues until August 4, 2010: This show features my painted woodcarvings on the theme of live now and enjoy life. The Titus Gallery is located at 222 East State Street (on the Commons), Ithaca, NY. Come on down to the Ithaca commons and see my original artwork and glicee prints as well as the lovely work of Susan Titus.
Art Trail Group Show Continues: I have one piece in the Greater Ithaca Art Trail show - at the CAP (Community Arts Partnership) gallery space (171 East State Street). This show features 25 Art Trail artists in a group show until the end of the summer.
Remember I demonstrate carving at the Ithaca Farmers Market on Saturdays and most Sundays.
